Well, you know my name now...that's a good start.
I live in Orlando and I'm a Temple University alumnus with an Information Science and Technology BS. Here are some of the interesting academic things that I've done:
- I've spoken several time (1, 2, 3) at the South Jersey Python and Web Dev Group
- I spoke at Ireland's 2018 National Python Convention
- I maintain the official Java starter for Vindinium
- I've committed to Spotify's Luigi to make EMR/AWS stuff a bit easier
- I was a research assistant (I handled GIS and web services for traffic prediction)
- I taught a Saturday Java/web development class for the Philadelphia BDPA
- I was the VP of the Temple University ACM
- I was a member of the Philadelphia Linux Users Group (I've also presented a few times)
- I previously maintained Temple University's General Education (GenEd) web page
- I have volunteered as an official for the Philadelphia Regional FIRST Robotics Competition as an official (last position: scoring official)
When I'm not working, I can often be found in the sky. I'm a licensed private pilot and skydiver.
I'm also on-line at the following places:
